Discussion message Re: MailSpaces: Awaiting approval of new member

Read on Peter - I approved her membership one day after the application - this is one of those unnecessary requests to unsubscribe - not a delayed application. You'll can be grateful you normally do not get to see such admin messages !! - this is Admin msg #8936 for me since the site was established in Nov 2006 ! - but guess they all contribute to the continuing efficiency of the site.

Discussion message EGroup Admin - Important Msg

Greetings Allan and Fellow Members, Thank you for your well-intentioned advice to Diane and others seeking to unsubscribe. I would, however, ask that ALL MEMBERS NO LONGER RESPOND TO "UNSUBSCRIBE" POSTINGS. Despite repetitive instructions having been posted, I am sorry, I can offer no guarantee they will be comprehended. It is highly probably only bona-fide members, not in need of the advice, are your only recipients.

Discussion message RE: unsubscribe me

community message: if you don't want to receive these e-mails try sending an e-mail to ... to unsubscribe... I'd suggest we must almost be through the last of the migration pains. I think it would be better if we just stick it out for a few more days whilst people go back and actually read the very clear instructions sent on many occasions of how to unsubscribe, change their delivery options etc.

Discussion message Removal from this message system

To anyone who wants to be removed from this mailing list.... Please send a request to be removed from the Blokart Mailspace list along with your email address to: Either: Nigel – the operator of mailspaces ... Or Richard – The blokart mailspace moderator ... This way you wont piss more people of by clogging up their mailboxes with “please remove me” emails.

Discussion message RE: unsubscribe me

It seems that the biggest problem is people sending unsubscribe messages to the list! Duh, there has been plenty of instructions for unsubscribing and WHO to send messages to, if having problems… The messages seem to go quick though, looking good…

Discussion message Re: This new list, and how to use it

Nigel, I'd just like to say thanks to you and the crew at mailspaces for rescuing the forum from the demise of smartgroups. To those who are receiving these emails and no longer wish to, please have a little patience whilst you read the instructions below on how to unsubscribe or change your settings.

Hey Guys and apologies to the guys who are trying to unsubscribe, it will happen soon. Anyway, the Blokarters from the Bay Club are heading up to Tairua tomorrow to catch the 12 midday low tide, for a look-see. Westerly winds are forecasted and it is a huge sailable area from 9am to 4pm. Feel free to just turn up.

Discussion message This new list, and how to use it

I am one of the system administrators at MailSpaces, and having seen some of the e-mails flying about I thought it would be useful to give a quick overview of how the system works, how to change your preferences, how to unsubscribe, and how you got here.
