Looks better for Omaha tomorrow. Today, SE about 10 knts going NE around midday and then rising to 15 knts in the afternoon with heavy rain.

28 blokart sailors and about 9 supporters! Great turnout for what looks like a fantastic trip. Looks like we have wind!

Finally, wind! The ABC has not been able to run a race day for 5 months because of light wind. I just hope it is not the opposite, too much.

TXT just in from Russell – allow an extra 30 minutes for travel because “lots of road works”! The wind looks to be set to change overnight to NE still, so my bet is Tokerau.

Light winds and fine weather for Saturday, strong NE with some rain on Sunday. Tides are no good for beach sailing.
