Discussion message Ivanpah results

There doesn't seem to be ant results up but had a text from Nicho and Tony. Nicho ended up 1st, Theo 2nd in heavy weights, not sure if crash affected results but would expect so.

Discussion message Mozzies at Yippoon

Message to all visitors to Yippoon, in March. Hi all, Have been talking to some locals from near Yippoon and they have given me some warnings on how to be prepared for those little nasties we will all encounter over in the lucky country. Apparently the mozzies are very nasty and leave very nasty bites that can get infected easily, and some carry the Ross river virus.

Discussion message RE: Japanese TV Channel - TBS - World Breakfast - blokart Coverage

Greetings Todd, No worries, mate. Thanks for hosting the TV crew. Yeah, tonnes of TV but so far the best thing that has worked for us is a article in JAF-Mate, the equivalent to the NZ, AA-magazine. Those magazines keep lying around and 2 months after it appeared people are still calling. That never happens with TV or radio.

AH HAA!! Classic! Thanks heaps for recording and sticking it on your site Jimi. Mate, you've got heaps of footage on your video page. You have certainly been milking the TV exposure in Japan. Awesome! Do you have any idea on how many people sail blokarts in Japan?

Discussion message Australian Open Titles

Hey I just got some pics of our base during the Opens, its at Ridges, yeah yeah in the middle of the harsh country side, gum tree after gum tree. A mate rang me, Don he said, I don’t know why I signed up for this event, oh …… I said, what is the matter….It is a bit rough he said……. Oh dear I thought…… I talked this event up and ‘suckered’ these guys into a hole…..I will send you the pics he said, and he did.

Discussion message RE: Blokart Bearings, salt water and sand

However, if you’re getting sand, salt and grit into your mast-crane-bearing……..you’re just doing too many wipe-outs. Now there’s yet another can-of-bearing-worms – As per prevailing Oz Best Mate advice – Super Glue in the Mast Crane Bearing, as in all bearings, is the Oz way to go – Oz Mates help their mates, right; In Asia we’re running with a rare oil won from the Cod-Reef-Critter – CRC-565 “Marine-Grade” ; Or are you cutting your Mast Crane...

Discussion message BUGS NEWSLETTER Dec 06

Gtgs Members, It seems a long fortnight since the Smartgroups transfer to Mailspaces. I am pleased to say things appear to be settling and traffic on the site is returning to the heydays we enjoyed when BUGS ( Blokart User Groups) first started. My sincere thanks to those of you actively participating.

Discussion message RE: blokart accident

Originally sent by: Paul Beckett Tim & Lee & any one else that interested! The issue of "Production" category is so that entrants to Karting are not disadvantaged. They buy their karts and that's it, they set up out of the box and go and not get discouraged by getting whipped by some deviate speed monger. So any rogering of masts etc. will be dealt with at scrutineering, and karts returned to stock.

Discussion message RE: One make racing?

Originally sent by: kembro45 G'day Jimi, Thanks for the constructive comment. I just thought it was worth raising for disscussion, as most guy's here run pre stretched rope as it saves the gloves and reduces the burn in 50kt gybes. I don't think that's a problem, but I can see where it could go and I want to keep it simple.
