Re: MailSpaces: Awaiting approval of new member
Tell you what Owen, if you refrain from calling me a smart-arse, I'll refrain from calling you a pompous pratt. Fair enough? |

Peter, smart-arsed comments are a form of spam we can all do without. Owen. -----Original Message----- |

Re: MailSpaces: Awaiting approval of new member
I accept all of what you say Richard. It wasn't intended as a dig at your well regulated systems, but rather a golden opportunity for some form of smart-assed comment. |

Re: MailSpaces: Awaiting approval of new member
Read on Peter - I approved her membership one day after the application - this is one of those unnecessary requests to unsubscribe - not a delayed application. You'll can be grateful you normally do not get to see such admin messages !! - this is Admin msg #8936 for me since the site was established in Nov 2006 ! - but guess they all contribute to the continuing efficiency of the site. |

Blokart Batten Rule Debate
Hi everyone, I thought I would try out the poll feature in Mailspaces. I am not sure how it works exactly so my apologies if it results in lots of emails. To kick off – a poll on the Batten Rule… My Thoughts on this lively & interesting debate. 1) While the sails are computer cut there will be manufacturing tolerances in the sail and battens. If you know what your doing or wish to experiment why not be allowed to sand down battens for a better shape? |

RE: Other usergroups
Hi Richard, We don't know each other but I have an important question for you concerning the mailspaces. We at BBIZZ are the european distributor for blokart. Therefore I always was in charge of the smartgroups. I have seen your succesfull way of transferring the new zealand smartgroup into the mailspaces smartgroup and am impressed by the way it looks and works. |

Other usergroups
Hi all, I am currently updating the usersgroups for blokart.com and was wondering if anyone knows where the other groups have gone. I have blokart NZ, blokart Europe and blokart Netherlands from mailspaces and blokart Uk from yahoo but I would like to update blokart USA, blokart Australia, blokart Ireland, blokart Canada, blokart South Africa if you know what happened to these usergroups or any others that should be considered for adding please reply. |

BUGS NEWSLETTER Dec 06
Gtgs Members, It seems a long fortnight since the Smartgroups transfer to Mailspaces. I am pleased to say things appear to be settling and traffic on the site is returning to the heydays we enjoyed when BUGS ( Blokart User Groups) first started. My sincere thanks to those of you actively participating. |

Re: Tides over Christmas and New Year
Great to see Mailspaces has restored the old dialogue we used to enjoy on Smartgroups. Great work Richard. Great interchange of information with a thread to be able to revist things agan Grant2 |

photos from Auckland last Sunday
Hi, Just figured out how to put some photos in the "knowledge" section of mailspaces. Go to www.mailspaces.com then go to knowledge and click through on Ladies give-it-a-go day for some photos of the action. |

EGroup Admin - Important Msg
Greetings Allan and Fellow Members, Thank you for your well-intentioned advice to Diane and others seeking to unsubscribe. I would, however, ask that ALL MEMBERS NO LONGER RESPOND TO "UNSUBSCRIBE" POSTINGS. Despite repetitive instructions having been posted, I am sorry, I can offer no guarantee they will be comprehended. It is highly probably only bona-fide members, not in need of the advice, are your only recipients. |

Re: mast storage bags
Mike Not sure about putting them up on mailspaces… Send them to me and I'll stick them on my website and send out the link. Ross. On 10/12/06 2:38 PM, "..." <...> wrote: |

Re: mast storage bags
Ross, Just put the blades on today. But am across that other pond from Nico here in Michigan USA. Has been below freezing here for a week. Minus 5 or 6c at night and enough to form ice on the inland lakes. However, as is normal, a week of freezing makes ice but it is what I call "dumb idiot ice." That is if one is "dumb" enough to venture out on it, he is an idiot! Do not despair, there is lots of winter left. |

Re: Auckland Thursday night
Looks like we're smokin' on Mailspaces too. After missing the migration from Smartgroups I've managed to connect without having to resort to a 4m + CRB! Many thanks on behalf of the sailors in the Twlight series Russell for organising and recording the latest series. |

Removal from this message system
To anyone who wants to be removed from this mailing list.... Please send a request to be removed from the Blokart Mailspace list along with your email address to: Either: Nigel – the operator of mailspaces ... Or Richard – The blokart mailspace moderator ... This way you wont piss more people of by clogging up their mailboxes with “please remove me” emails. |

Re: This new list, and how to use it
Nigel, I'd just like to say thanks to you and the crew at mailspaces for rescuing the forum from the demise of smartgroups. To those who are receiving these emails and no longer wish to, please have a little patience whilst you read the instructions below on how to unsubscribe or change your settings. |

This new list, and how to use it
I am one of the system administrators at MailSpaces, and having seen some of the e-mails flying about I thought it would be useful to give a quick overview of how the system works, how to change your preferences, how to unsubscribe, and how you got here. |
