Computer issues during Raceday

Hi All,

Just an explanation of the two hold ups we had yesterday at the track with the timing system.  First Russell’s transponder was not working correctly in the first race due to the fact that he had the wrong transponder which was quickly rectified.  The other issue we had was with 3 karts sitting over the transponder aerial for a couple of minutes between races, the system kept reading there transponder which built up into a queue of transponders waiting to be processed.  A because there was so many readings it will except the transponder every 5 seconds (from memory) it took awhile to clear all of the backlog readings once we had worked out what was wrong.  We will be looking at processes to ensure this does not happen in the future.
