Thanks for the info on understeer. The way I sit in mine now is mostly as far forward as I can get without jamming both feet clean through the front of the POD. On ice, overall weight does not seem as critical as on land. Correct tuning of the blades is more important for speed. Has anyone tested putting extra weight up front while using the blades on ice? I think I remember sand bags being tried at Ivanpah last year. I have 22 pounds of lead weight I will use next time out.
BTW, today was amazing. 12–13 mph wind speed resulted in 30 mph plus kart speed. F 11 air temp. On board wind chill, damn COLD! ALL HAIL THE POD! Tomorrow's wind predicted to be 20 mph. (maybe a new speed record)?
