                        Hi Paul,

There are a couple of things we had thought of,

At the Europeans people were push starting and getting out of karts during the race to try to get up wind faster. We feel it is better if you have to stay seated during the race, this makes it equal for all people, stiff old buggers, disabled, etc.

Like the idea of one design so its the skill of the sailor and not the size of wallet. Idea of standard and modified sounds good. Will have to be careful with the standard, as we have thought up a few ways to cheat and not get caught. One being putting something inside the mast sleeve to stiffen it up, so have a CRB that no one knows about.

Weight of pilot makes a major difference, so maybe more weight classes, ballast or handicapping, i.e. starting further back.

If I think of others I will mail.

Happy New Year to you all and lets have a right blast in 2005.
