The Auckland Land Yacht Association are holding their
"justforthehellofit" weekend at Kariotahi. Meet at the beach on
Saturday morning to start racing about 10.30. Lots of fun races and
blokarts are invited for the two day event. Depending on numbers we
can set up our own course which will be shorter than what the larger
landyachts cover. There will be an entry fee dependant on whether you
stay for a barbq in the evening.
The idea is to have a fun couple of days if the weather is right.
At present it looks like the westerly quarter winds will hold so
pencil in both days if you can. If not then make it for one of the
days.
More details later as they come to hand.
