Looks like light winds from SE to ESE for Saturday and Sunday. Maybe
10 – 15 knts but tides aren't great for beaches. 6 am east coast, 9am
west coast.
Lets all meet at Bruce Pulman Park, Walters Rd, Papakura at 1 pm for
some fun races. It's a great spot in light winds because of the hard
surface and lack of trees. Last visit two weeks ago Grant and I sorted
out some courses for racing, so will try some of these. They get
modified if there is a function at the rec. centre but normally the
place is free from cars and we have the run of the place.
Handicap and weight races, cross country and track racing, speed
bumps to dodge, might even try some of my ideas for evening things out
a bit.
Keep an eye on this sight for any modifications to plans, otherwise
see you at 1 pm. Everyone welcome including newcomers, kids, learners,
flat out racers. There's room for all.
