Some good karting for a small group who headed to a lovely sunny afternoon at Waikanae. The Wind was 45 deg off the beach, making for slower beats to windward, but fast runs downwind. Lots of slime, ( I hope it wasn't sh..t ) added to the interest, from Boat-Club North.

Tried out Andrew's new Fed Five . Very scary at first, until you get used to the raw power and lying back in a near prone position, just mil's from the ground. It just demands to go faster, to hell with the corners. A straight-line machine, probably more suited to the longer runs at Waitarere. Definitly recommended for adrenalin junkie's.
