Hi all,

BBC had a fun day with lots of practice starts which judging by everyone’s performance we will need more of with just 11 people turning up we got through 11 races in a variety of wind conditions between 1:30 and 3pm.  Thanks to Claire for the nice pumpkin and kumara soup to warm everyone up after the racing.   Kevin stayed after everyone left and we were both treated to a really blast around the track. I achieved a new top speed of 52 with a 5.5 meter sail up and having a great time.  A few people took advantage of the fun day to take some short cuts to win races, which completely confused Paul when he crossed the line first  the computer called Theo the winner.  Paul can’t really complain because I’m sure he was trying to boost sails by running into various people when not racing.  Anyway adjusted results will be available tomorrow for those interested.   The new laptop performed really well and the starts and timing issues seem to be over.
