Great shots Russell – thanks for posting these – and to Morag (sorry, I added an “o”) for all the hard work behind the camera.  Now we know why the course was across the stream.  This sets a record for the number of shots taken on an event. I’ve got a new background on my PC!  Let’s hope Haydn’s video is equally entertaining!

Here’s hoping for a more favourable wind direction in two weeks.

My new secret weapon held Haydn off past the second stream (where we were supposed to turn), and the 3^rd, but another 3 Km later he got me (even after getting stuck in the sand).  Bruce kept closing the gap and came in third.  But I paid the price on the way home – gibing was pretty fruitless – so I had a relaxed run like a wheelbarrow all the way with the sail “flat-as” while nursing a deflating tyre that was vibrating more with every passing Km.

A great day despite the wind direction.
