Thanks to the ABC crew for being out at BPP for some great background shots... it looked great seeing a good dozen or so Blokarts out there and the shadow was also filmed.
The wind looked promising early on with some pretty good easterly gusts (20+ knots?) coming through and most electing to go with 3m sails. An interesting course up around the mountain, around behind the netball courts and back past Orca's lake seemed to go well whilst the wind was up, but just as the film crew and presenter were ready to go, the wind died away to maybe 5 - 8 knots with small gusts to 10 or 12knots. Great for Dan's first outing even if a little slow. Dan loved it, the crew had a play at the end and are dead keen to come back, and everyone finished with huge Blokart grins.
Many thanks to Blokart for the 5 point harness - it worked brilliantly, and to Blown Away Blokart Hire for the helmet.
