Well, it ended up with no wind. Unfortunately I was at another organisation and their commuter system was down so couldn't send out the OPTN message or email to postpone. Managed to send a text to some members who I had in my phone directory so apologies to those who didn't get a message and turned up to race. The good news is that the park has been swept and is clean of loose stones as well as the potholes filled in.
The Pipe Band Champs start at BPP today but there was lots of traffic and 3 campervans and a caravan in "our" carpark last night so it would have been a bit dicey anyway. The Champs are on Friday and Saturday but there may be traffic around Sunday, hopefully most will be gone by the afternoon in time for a sail. Light winds with sea breezes predicted.

Race night tomorrow. Winds predicted to be SW 15 knts moving to E 15 knts in the afternoon. Who knows how that will end up.
Good news that the some potholes have been filled with the balance to be fixed over the coming weeks. Also may get the fork bending speed hump smoothed out a bit. The round the mountain track is sealed with gentle speed humps that shouldn't worry us too much.
Meet normal time with 6 pm briefing followed by first race.
