Race day. This is a back up day from last week. Looks like plenty of wind but maybe a little wet as well. That always makes it interesting getting around the tight corners at the park.

Forecast:

"Sunday: Easterly rising to 50 knots in exposed places, changing northerly 30 knots in the evening. A period of heavy rain"

Het Phil, you're welcome to join us, looks like we will get plenty.

I don't think 50 knts is very conducive to safe sailing at the park although it will be reduced by the time it reaches BPP, always is less in an easterly. If this persists then may abandon race day and head for Omaha where low tide is about 1 pm. I will make the call late Saturday/early Sunday (but may get it wrong, can only go on what is being forecast). Either way that 2 mtr sail is looking good eh Grant? and we will get a sail somewhere.
