Lesley,
If I give you another satphone number and they call that, we should be able to see the number on the display. If I get a number for you can you get that to them and arrange a time for them to call and hang up (no charge). I can probably also let you TXT their satphone for free- but it depend what network they are on.
Cheers
Grant

Subject: Re: [blokart] Gobi Update 4 May....
Don phoned Monday morning trying to figure out how we could phone the cellphone they had purchased. They can phone us but we cannot phone them. Mongolian directory service not quite the same as ours.
THEY ARE ALL WELL, even after staying for the previous 2 nights in the equivalent of minus 4 star accomodation. The day and night temperatures are better than expected. I gathered the karts are a bit sad escpecially the pods but a bit of tape works wonders. Wheels are hanging in there and they are getting good winds, reaching some good speeds and covering the distance. They were heading South to somewhere from somewhere that day?!?! I will leave the details for the boys to fill in when they can.

Thanks, Yes I got that off the website as well, but was looking for how the
sailors were going. I thought maybe there had been some personal updates that might be useful.>>> ... 8/05/07 8:58 a.m. >>>May 4th 2007A call from Kevin 5.15pm in Mongolia. Sat in a Bar with Santiago. Luggage still not arrived, , its 15 hours away. Â Has parts of his Blokart but no wheels or clothes etc. Â Waiting for flights from Air China, one was cancelled because of a sandstorm, another coming in tonight so fingers crossed it will have the luggage, if it does they have a fast car to get them to the start line (at least I think that's what he said) If the the luggage doesn't com tonight then he will go back to the hotel and may go horse riding tomorrow! Occupying his time shopping! .UPDATE 12.00 TODAYLuggage has now arrived and Kevin and Santiago are finally on there way in a 4x4 high speed vehicle! They are at least 8 hours away from the rest of the team, could be up to 15 depending on how far the others have travelled. From http://www.gobiblokartraid.com/live_feedback.htmlwww.jiglu.com – making communities, smarter
