Welcome to the Big Asian Smoke – Don,
In Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai there is generally very little visibility. 500m is low though……. Looks like you’re hanging out in the smoky part of town.
That’s why Typhoons are so refreshing in this part of the world. After the typhoon, blue skies are reality, not just a dim distant memory. (for a few days)
Go Don, Ted, Gordon, Bruce and Steve !!!!
Through a fluke I didn’t correctly read or absorb the 2007 Mongolia Raid emails/plans. I’ll be there next year though. And hope to bring a minor Japanese contingent.
All the best guys …… “Bon Voyage” to the French dudes, “Het Beste” to the Dutch guys, “Thumbs-up ol’-chap” to UK contingent.
Best regards from Japan,
Jimi
PS Sorry, I’ve deleted the email trail, however it up’s your download in the dim and dark woods you are about to tread in terms of communications. (Believe me, I have been there)
