We could make our laps longer at Waitarere, but we might need to include a couple of stream crossings. 20km laps would be a possibility without getting too wet!
Looks like that adds to the fun though, looking at the pics of all those black sandblasted faces!

Hey Phil
Strange, I didn’t get your reply, but I see it in Russell’s. But sometimes the emails arrive out of order.
Yeah, that’s why I’ve got to do it again! I may have got the checkered flag, but only 9 laps. But if you add Friday, that’s 150 Km in 2 days, so that’s probably a gentle warm up for the Gobi desert…..I could have kept going all day but for the tide. No blisters like some.
10 km laps get a bit lonely when you’re last. Are yours shorter or longer at Waitarere?
Cheers
Zorro

Hey Phil, give us some warning and you never know who might turn up now that everyone has a taste for it. Could be a Hamilton, BoP, Auckland, Wellington teams endurance race. Russell
Hey Grant, looks like you only did 90km, thats one lap down! Sounds like a blast though, we will have to do one down here, maybe at Waitarere… Cheers Phil
