Subject: RE: [blokart] Kamakaze Blast Muriwai 11 AMWhat a blast! We got that 30 knots (plus a few higher gusts as well) and Russell tried out the 2 and the 3m, using me as the “control” with just a 3m. The results – very interesting! Come to Karioitahi tomorrow and if we get 30 knots again you’ll see for yourselves!
We did over 60 Km up and down the beach – faster up than down, with speeds up top 75 kph . No records set today. Great practice for tomorrow.
A few little squalls – we didn’t really get wet at all – even after picking up the odd sweeper. Broke the pulley whip for no apparent reason and did a 180 at speed and headed off down the beach backwards. Posed with some Japanese tourists for photographs. We will regale you all with more tales over dinner tonight and bore you stupid.
I really do recommend this over work (but I’m back now having removed all the evidence aka sand).

Subject: [blokart] Kamakaze Blast Muriwai 11 AMAt this stage Russell and I plan to be at Muriwai (final wind check at 10 AM) at 11 AM. Russell is bringing his 2m sail, so we’re expecting 30 knots. CU there if you are game!
