Hi Everyone,

I gather a few Aucklanders are waiting to see what the wind is doing before deciding on travelling down on Sunday for the BAI meeting & Bay Race Day. If your not sure please email me your phone number if you wish to participate in the toll free conference call if you decide to stay up here.

Regards
Nick

P.S. Club secretary's can you please email me your club membership list! P.P.S We need at least 15 people in attendance for a quorum.
P.P.S I wish to modify Russell's motion to: "members who don't attend the AGM". So come along or phone in and have your say! :-)

Hi Every one , The blokart track will be closed to the public on Sunday so that all those wishing to can get a good run at practicing on the track. We have started track Modifications in preparation for the Worlds so there may be some mud instead of grass. The Whole track will be open to Practice on and the bay Club will have the timing set up here.

The office will be open

For those who do not have 5.5 sails there will be a quiver of up to 8 available in the show room. Users need to sign for them and return to office after use.

The wind has been awesome all week and the weekend is looking OK too

Hi all.
We have at least one car load (possibly two) travelling up from Wellington, so make sure that you dial up the correct winds for us please.
Sounds like the Aucklanders have had plenty of practice! Its our turn now!
See you there Friday afternoon.

Hi All,

The Bay Club Day is looking up in the air at the moment weather wise with Easterlies of 10 knots dropping but it is only a forecast.

Due to Pauls generous offer of closing the track for the hirers and wanting to get as much practice as possible for the worlds.  The club day will start straight after the BAI AGM meeting so everyone will need to be ready to start at the earlier time of 11am this maybe delayed if the meeting runs longer but will not start any earlier.

Further updates later in the week with some more details.

Cheers

Richard

Hi Everyone,

just a another reminder about the BAI AGM
at 10am on Sunday the 10th of August at Blokart Heaven in Papamoa.

For people wishing to attend the AGM via the teleconference (toll
free), please email me personally at
... (DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE) with the
phone number you wish to call from.

Also email me personally if you would like your apology recorded.

Please find attached the current Constitution, the proposed Constitution

and change log. I have also included the minutes from last year's AGM.

For those of you who wish to stand for the committee, we usually meet at

10am at Blokart Heaven on the second Sunday of the month, before the Bay

Club's race day. For those too far away to travel, a free teleconference

call facility is used.

If you have any questions please contact me.

Finally our current President, Grant Crawshay, is to retire as required
in the constitution.
I would like to thank Grant on behalf of the committee and the members
of the association
for his contribution and leadership over the last three years.

Regards
Nicholas Murray
BAI Secretary

Looks like its more of the same for this weekend then, unless someone can tell us any different!
I might have to borrow your rigging coach - I forgot how to rig my kart.
