Hi All,
As much as we love hosting visitors at our club day, I also do not want the travellers to waste money on petrol travelling down. So here is another update on weather.
The wind forecast has dropped again down to 11 -12 knots which is not great and has been dropping all week, the other point to say is that the wind is meant to be NE or E which means the wind is shadowed by the hill / house. And light rain may fall but this usually shirts around the track and we see very little.
The decision to come is yours normally we do not call off a race day till 10:30 or 11 we like to see what could formations we have around us before we decide. So the decision to come is really up to you. Both myself and blokart use http://www.windfinder.com/forecast/tauranga for our weather forecast which is more accurate than the met service for the blokart track, the other forecast I watch is http://www.metservice.com/default/index.php?alias=farmbayofplenty .

Thanks for the update Richard. Looks like we've got plenty of wind for tomorrow at BPP so you are most welcome to transfer your race day up here and we'll get another 20 on the track. The travellers will keep in touch up here and make a decision late tonight, early morning on whether to make the trip. Auckland. Wind today and tomorrow from NE but probably not worth the trip to Omaha. Meet BPP after lunch tomorrow. Last day to practice before first winter series race.
