We are holding out for the Norwesters to come in for Sunday, where we will try again.

Forecast is saying 14-15 knot NW, and overcast.

Everyone keen to give it a go is welcome.

Meet about a kilometer up the beach from the beach access. Can drive up there safely in a car.

Registrations from 10am. Racing to start at 12pm.

Looks like wind may be marginal for beach sailing tomorrow. 10 knt wetserly going NW and rising in the afternoon. Good for Waitarere but not for west coast beaches in Auckland. Monday may be a better beach day. I will make the call in the morning but may be heading for BPP.
